Keeping a watchful eye on students’ safety while you’re driving isn’t only meant for the start of the school year. Keep these tips in mind year-round:
1. Slow down and be especially alert in neighborhoods and school zones. Come to a complete stop when the red lights on the bus are flashing.
2. Enter and exit driveways and alleys slowly and carefully.
3. Watch for children on and near the road in the morning and after school hours, including those getting on and off the school bus.
